SCASA Lifetime Achievement Award
Each year up to three education administrators receive the prestigious SCASA Lifetime Achievement Award, which recognizes the lifetime achievement of veteran administrators. Winners of the 2025 SCASA Lifetime Achievement Award will receive a monetary honorarium presented by the South Carolina Association of Governmental Organizations (SCAGO). They are publicly recognized during Innovative Ideas Institute (i3) in June and invited to the SCASA Awards Dinner on May 13, 2026.
SCASA members will receive a notification in early spring detailing the application procedures and to submit nominations. Nominees must be SCASA members, but nominations may be presented by anyone.

Qualifications for the SCASA Lifetime Achievement Award:
- A nominee must have served a minimum of 10 full years in a school district or educational agency in South Carolina and must be serving in a full-time administrative position in South Carolina at the time the nomination is made.
- A nominee must be an active member of SCASA and his/her affiliate.
- An administrator may nominate himself/herself or be nominated by an affiliate of SCASA, an individual or group, including teachers, principals, school board members or parents.
- Previous award winners are not eligible.
- Nominee's Name, position and school district
- Nominee's primary affiliate
- A brief summary on why the nominee deserves to receive the SCASA Lifetime Achievement Award (500 word limit)
- Nominator's name, position, and email address (individual submitting the nomination)
While recipients must be members of SCASA, anyone may nominate and submit the award application for selection.
Nominations are due by February 25, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
Nominators will be notified and asked to complete the award application packet by March 27, 2026.
