This workshop is for new and aspiring K-12 hearing officers. The training offers a step-by-step walkthrough of the K-12 evidentiary hearing process—from the initial referral to the final decision—equipping participants with tools, templates, and techniques aligned with current best practices and professional standards. Attendees will engage in real-world simulations, review actual case samples, and leave with a toolkit to strengthen both confidence and compliance in their role. This session is ideal for building consistency, fairness, and clarity in your district's hearing procedures.
Only current school or district-level leaders may attend this meeting.
Registration is complimentary for SCASA Members.
If you are not a member of SCASA and work full time in a school district, you must pay a $30 registration fee to attend the roundtable meeting.
