This course is a combination of lecture and “hands on” training that educates participants in current trends of active shooter incidents, recognition of early warning signs of violence, appropriate actions to increase chances of survival in an active shooter event, and how to use basic medical equipment to save the lives of victims. It is not necessary that participants have any prior training to attend this class.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be received in writing to april@scasa.org by April 13, 2026, and are subject to a $25 cancellation fee. Cancellations received after April 13, 2026, will not be refunded.
