Palmetto Pulse

Palmetto Pulse:  Connecting to the Capitol
Are you interested in how laws are made in SC?  Do you want to learn more about the in’s and out’s of the political process?  Would you like to shadow a lobbyist for a day?  If you answered yes to any of the questions, then you need to register for the new professional development series…..Palmetto Pulse.  Join Beth Phibbs, Molly Spearman, and invited guests as we discuss the history of South Carolina politics, the three branches of government in South Carolina and the legislative process as it pertains to laws and the state budget.  Of course, the series would not be complete without a day at the state house watching and interacting with lawmakers as well as attending a meeting of the SC Board of Education.
