SC Personnel Administrator of the Year

This statewide award is presented to a personnel director at the district level. The award recognizes involvement with regional or statewide SCASA educational issues, and the nominee's impact on improvement in his or her school district.

The 2018 announcement was made during the 2018 Personnel Winter Conference and the winner will be recognized during the 2018 Innovative Ideas Institute.

2018 Personnel Administrator of the Year Information 
 
If you feel your personnel administrator is worthy of this prestigious award, please look over the eligibility requirements below. If those are met, please send the following information to April Griffin at april@scasa.org: 
 
1.            Candidate's name & school district 
2.            Number of years in school district 
3.            Provide a brief summary on why the candidate deserves to be the 2016 SC Personnel Administrator of the Year. (500 word limit)

Eligibility Requirements:
  • A nominee must have served a minimum of three (3) full years in a school district in South Carolina and must be serving in a personnel administrative position at the time the nomination is submitted.
  • A nominee must be an active member of SCASA and the Personnel Administrators’ Division
  • Note: Nominees are ineligible if they are (1) presently serving as President of the Personnel Division (2) members of the Publicity and Recognition Committee or (3) a previous award recipient.
  • Nominations may be made by active SCASA members. Self-nominations are accepted.
The deadline to submit your nominations is Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 11:59 p.m.
