Emerging Leadership
This comprehensive, two-year institute series is aimed at meeting the unique needs of South Carolina’s future education executive leaders who are recognized as having great potential and are ready to take their leadership knowledge and skills to the next level.
The first year will consist of a two-day institute that will meet four times each year, and the second year will follow the same format. The topics are not sequential, and you can participate at any time. Ideal candidates include new principals, assistant principals and teacher leaders who are upwardly mobile and seek an experience that will prepare them to successfully launch the next phase of their careers.
The curriculum for this institute series is specifically designed to equip high potential educators with the knowledge and skills practiced by the most successful education and business leaders. Participants will develop the capacity to "hit the ground running" as they undertake new challenges in education administration.
Please click on the links below for descriptions and registration information. The cost is $1095 for all four sessions or $300 for one session. This two-year institute series is not part of the subscribing district seminar series. Registration deadline is one week before each scheduled session. Registration payment is due on or before the session. Check payments may be mailed to: SCASA, 121 Westpark Blvd., Columbia, SC 29210.
